अदैवं दैवतं कुर्युर्दवतं चाप्पदैवतम्‌ । लोकानन्यान्‌ सृजेयुस्ते लोकपालांश्ष कोपिता:

Transliteration

adaivaṃ daivataṃ kuryur daivataṃ cāpy adaivatam | lokān anyān sṛjeyus te lokapālāṃś ca kopitāḥ ||

Translation

తపోబలంతో బ్రాహ్మణులు దైవం కానిదాన్నీ దైవంగా చేయగలరు; వారు కోపించితే దేవతలనూ దేవత్వం నుండి చ్యుతం చేయగలరు. ఆగ్రహంలో వారు ఇతర లోకాలను, లోకపాలకులను కూడా సృష్టించగలరు।
