Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
भवितारश्न तस्याथ सर्वे कामा यथेप्सिता: । प्रेत्य स्वर्ग च लभते नरो नास्त्यत्र संशय:,उसके सारे अभीष्ट मनोरथ पूर्ण होंगे और वह मनुष्य मृत्युके पश्चात् स्वर्गलोक पाता है, इसमें संशय नहीं है
bhavitāraś ca tasyātha sarve kāmā yathā-ipsitāḥ | pretya svargaṃ ca labhate naro nāsty atra saṃśayaḥ ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను—అప్పుడు అతడు యథోచితంగా కోరిన సమస్త కోరికలు నెరవేరును; మరణానంతరం ఆ మనిషి స్వర్గలోకాన్ని పొందును—ఇందులో సందేహం లేదు.
