न घातयति नो हन्ति घ्नन्तं नैवानुमोदते । सर्वभूतेषु सस्नेही यथा55त्मनि तथापरे,इसके विपरीत जो शुद्ध कुलमें उत्पन्न और जीवहिंसासे अलग रहनेवाला है, जिसने शस्त्र और दण्डका परित्याग कर दिया है, जिसके द्वारा कभी किसीकी हिंसा नहीं होती, जो न मारता है, न मारनेकी आज्ञा देता है और न मारनेवालेका अनुमोदन ही करता है। जिसके मनमें सब प्राणियोंके प्रति स्नेह बना रहता है तथा जो अपने ही समान दूसरोंपर भी दयादृष्टि रखता है। देवि! ऐसा श्रेष्ठ पुरुष देवत्वको प्राप्त होता है और देवलोकमें प्रसन्नतापूर्वक स्वतः उपलब्ध हुए सुखद भोगोंका अनुभव करता है

na ghātayati no hanti ghnantaṃ naivānumodate | sarvabhūteṣu sasnehī yathātmāni tathāpare ||

అతడు ఇతరులతో చంపించడు, తానే చంపడు, చంపేవానిని సమ్మతించడూ లేదు. సమస్త భూతాల పట్ల స్నేహశీలి; తనను ఎలా చూస్తాడో అలాగే ఇతరులను చూస్తాడు.
