पापेन कर्मणा देवि बद्धो हिंसारतिर्नर: । अप्रिय: सर्वभूतानां हीनायुरुपजायते,देवि! पापकर्मसे बँधा हुआ हिंसापरायण मनुष्य समस्त प्राणियोंका अप्रिय होनेके कारण अल्पायु हो जाता है

Transliteration

pāpena karmaṇā devi baddho hiṃsāratir naraḥ | apriyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ hīnāyur upajāyate, devi ||

Translation

దేవీ! పాపకర్మలతో బంధింపబడిన హింసాపరుడు సమస్త ప్రాణులకు అప్రీతికరుడవుతాడు; అందరికీ అప్రీతికరుడైనందున అల్పాయుష్కుడవుతాడు.
