Translation

నేను అలా చెప్పగానే శంకరుడు—“ఏవమస్తు, అలాగే జరుగుగాక” అని పలికెను. అప్పుడు జగన్మాత, సమస్తాన్ని ధారించి పోషించే, సర్వపావని శర్వాణి (ఉమాదేవి) ఏకాగ్రచిత్తంతో ఇలా చెప్పింది—“నిష్పాపా! భగవాన్ నీకు ‘సాంబ’ అనే కుమారుని ప్రసాదించాడు।”
