यस्तु देवि यथान्यायं दीक्षितो नियतो द्विज: । आत्मन्यात्मानमाधाय निर्ममों धर्मलालस:
yastu devi yathānyāyaṃ dīkṣito niyato dvijaḥ | ātmany ātmānam ādhāya nirmamo dharmalālasaḥ ||
శ్రీ మహేశ్వరుడు పలికెను—కానీ, ఓ దేవీ, యథావిధిగా దీక్ష పొందిన, నియమశీలుడైన, ఇంద్రియనిగ్రహం కలిగిన ద్విజుడు, తన మనస్సును ఆత్మలో నిలిపి, మమకారరహితుడై—ధర్మాన్ని ఆశ్రయించి తపించువాడవుతాడు।
