स्थण्डिले शुद्धमाकाशं परिगृह्म समनन्‍्ततः: । प्रविश्य च मुदा युक्तो दीक्षां द्वादशवार्षिकीम्‌

Transliteration

sthaṇḍile śuddham ākāśaṃ parigṛhya samantataḥ | praviśya ca mudā yukto dīkṣāṃ dvādaśavārṣikīm ||

Translation

మహాదేవుడు పలికెను—శుద్ధపరచిన స్థండిలభూమిపై చుట్టూరా పవిత్ర ఆకాశప్రదేశాన్ని నిర్ణయించి, ఆనందముతో నియమబద్ధమైన మనస్సుతో అందులో ప్రవేశించి, పన్నెండు సంవత్సరాల దీక్షావ్రతాన్ని స్వీకరించవలెను.
