Rudra-Śiva: Names, Two Natures, and the Logic of Epithets (रुद्रनाम-बहुरूपत्व-प्रकरणम्)
ते सुरै: समतां यान्ति सुरकार्यार्थसिद्धये । द्योतयन्ति दिश: सर्वास्तपसा दग्धकिल्बिषा:
te suraiḥ samatāṃ yānti surakāryārthasiddhaye | dyotayanti diśaḥ sarvāstapasā dagdhakilbiṣāḥ ||
దేవకార్యసిద్ధి కోసం వారు దేవులతో సమానత్వాన్ని పొందుతారు (వారివలె రూపమును కూడా ధరించగలరు). తపస్సుతో సమస్త పాపాలను దహించి, తమ తేజస్సుతో అన్ని దిక్కులను ప్రకాశింపజేస్తారు.
