Brahmapūjā-kāraṇa-prśnaḥ and Keśava–Viṣvaksena-stuti
Question on Brahmin veneration; hymn on Kṛṣṇa as cosmic order
दीनश्न याचते चायमल्पेनापि हि तुष्यति । इति दद्याद् दरिद्राय कारुण्यादिति सर्वथा
dīnaś ca yācate cāyam alpenāpi hi tuṣyati | iti dadyād daridrāya kāruṇyād iti sarvathā ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను— ‘ఇతడు దయనీయుడు, అత్యంత దరిద్రుడు; నన్ను యాచిస్తున్నాడు; కొద్దిగా ఇచ్చినా తృప్తి చెందుతాడు’ అని భావించి, దరిద్రునికి ఎల్లప్పుడూ కరుణతో దానం చేయవలెను।
