दत्त्वा तु सततं ते5स्तु कौरवाणां धुरन्धर | दानयज्ञक्रियायुक्ता बुद्धिर्धमोपचायिनी,कौरवधुरंधर! तुम भी सदा दान करते रहो। तुम्हारी बुद्धि दान और यज्ञकी क्रियामें संलग्न हो धर्मकी उन्नति करती रहे

Transliteration

dattvā tu satataṃ te 'stu kauravāṇāṃ dhurandhara | dānayajñakriyāyuktā buddhir dharmopacāyinī ||

Translation

భీష్ముడు పలికెను—ఓ కౌరవధురంధరా! నీవు నిత్యం దానం చేస్తూ ఉండు. దానయజ్ఞక్రియలలో నిమగ్నమైన నీ బుద్ధి సదా ధర్మవృద్ధిని కలిగించుగాక.
