Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ

Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony

तमहं प्राउ्जलिर्भूत्वा मृगपक्षिष्वथाग्निषु । धर्मे च शिष्यवर्गे च समपृच्छमनामयम्‌,तब मैंने हाथ जोड़कर आश्रमके मृग, पक्षी, अग्निहोत्र, धर्मांचरण तथा शिष्यवर्गका कुशल-समाचार पूछा

tam ahaṁ prāñjalir bhūtvā mṛgapakṣiṣv athāgniṣu | dharme ca śiṣyavarge ca samapṛccham anāmayam ||

అప్పుడు నేను చేతులు జోడించి ఆశ్రమంలోని జింకలు, పక్షులు, అగ్నిహోత్రం, ధర్మాచరణం మరియు శిష్యవర్గం క్షేమసమాచారం అడిగాను— అన్నీ నిరామయంగా ఉన్నాయా అని.
