Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ

Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony

हेतुवादैर्विनिर्मुक्ते सांख्ययोगार्थदं परम्‌ यमुपासन्ति तत्त्वज्ञा वरं तस्माद्‌ वृणीमहे

hetuvādair vinirmukte sāṅkhyayogārthadaṃ param | yam upāsanti tattvajñā varaṃ tasmād vṛṇīmahe ||

యుక్తివాద-వివాదములకు అతీతుడైనవాడు; భక్తులకు సాంఖ్య-యోగముల పరమ ప్రయోజనమును ప్రసాదించువాడు; తత్త్వజ్ఞులు నిరంతరం ఉపాసించువాడు—ఆ మహాదేవుని నుండే మేము వరముకోసం ప్రార్థించుచున్నాము।
