Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ

Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony

अप्रसाद्य विरूपाक्षं वरदं स्थाणुमव्ययम्‌ । कुत: क्षीरोदनं वत्स सुखानि वसनानि च

aprasādya virūpākṣaṃ varadaṃ sthāṇum avyayam | kutaḥ kṣīrodanaṃ vatsa sukhāni vasanāni ca ||

బిడ్డా! వరదాత, నిత్యస్థిరుడు, అవినాశి అయిన విరూపాక్షుడిని ప్రసన్నం చేయకుండానే పాలన్నం, సుఖసౌఖ్యాలు, మంచి వస్త్రాలు ఎక్కడి నుంచి లభిస్తాయి?
