भीष्म उवाच
As a colophon, the line does not add new doctrine but frames the completed discourse as revealing a 'rahasya'—an inner or subtle rationale—about dharma in the context of the Pramatha hosts, situated within the broader teaching on dāna (charitable giving) and righteous conduct.
The speaker attribution 'Bhīṣma uvāca' marks Bhīṣma as the instructor, and this sentence functions as an editorial closing note announcing that the 131st chapter—on the dharma-related secret connected with the Pramathas—has ended within the Dāna-dharma portion of the Anuśāsana Parva.
