Viṣṇu-sahasranāma—Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry and Bhīṣma’s Recitation (विष्णोर्नामसहस्रम्)
अरुन्धत्युवाच तपोवृद्धिर्मया प्राप्ता भवतां स्मरणेन वै । भवतां च प्रसादेन धर्मान् वक्ष्यामि शाश्वतान्
aruṇdaty uvāca | tapovṛddhir mayā prāptā bhavatāṁ smaraṇena vai | bhavatāṁ ca prasādena dharmān vakṣyāmi śāśvatān |
అరుంధతి పలికెను—“మీరు నన్ను స్మరించినందున నా తపోబలం వృద్ధి పొందింది. మీ అనుగ్రహముచేత నేను ఇప్పుడు శాశ్వత ధర్మములను, వాటి గూఢార్థములతో కూడి, వివరించెదను. వినుడి. ఈ ఉపదేశము శుద్ధమనస్సు గల శ్రద్ధావంతునికే ఇవ్వవలెను.”
