ब्रह्मोवाच अहो प्रश्नो महाभागा गूढार्थ: परम: शुभ: । सूक्ष्म: श्रेयांश्व॒ मर्दानां भवद्धिः समुदाह्ृत:
brahmovāca aho praśno mahābhāgā gūḍhārthaḥ paramaḥ śubhaḥ | sūkṣmaḥ śreyāṁś ca martyānāṁ bhavadbhiḥ samudāhṛtaḥ ||
బ్రహ్ముడు పలికెను—“అహో! మహాభాగులారా, ఈ ప్రశ్న గూఢార్థమయినది, పరమ శుభప్రదమైనది, అత్యంత సూక్ష్మమైనది. ఇది మానవుల పరమ శ్రేయస్సుకు దోహదపడేది; మీరు దీనిని సముచితంగా ఉద్భవింపజేశారు.”
