Umā–Maheśvara-saṃvāda: Varṇa-bhraṃśa, Ācāra (Vṛtta), and Karmic Ascent/Decline
देवतास्तस्य तुष्यन्ति कामिकं चापि सिध्यति । अन्यथा हि वृथा मर्त्याः कुर्वते स्वल्पबुद्धयः
devatās tasya tuṣyanti kāmikaṃ cāpi sidhyati | anyathā hi vṛthā martyāḥ kurvate svalpabuddhayaḥ ||
ఇలా చేయువానిపై దేవతలు తృప్తిచెందుతారు; అతని న్యాయమైన కోరిక కూడా సిద్ధిస్తుంది. కాని అల్పబుద్ధులు అలా చేయక వ్యర్థమైన ఇతర కార్యాలలోనే తలమునకలై ఉంటారు.
