श्रूयतां येन तुष्यामो मर्त्याना साधुकर्मणाम् । पितरोंने कहा--महाभाग देवताओ! आपने न्यायत:ः अपना संदेह उपस्थित किया है। उत्तम कर्म करनेवाले मनुष्योंके जिस कार्यसे हम संतुष्ट होते हैं, उसको सुनिये
śrūyatāṁ yena tuṣyāmo martyānāṁ sādhukarmaṇām |
పితరులు పలికిరి—హే మహాభాగ దేవతలారా! మీరు న్యాయముగా మీ సందేహాన్ని ప్రతిపాదించారు. ఇప్పుడు వినుడి—సత్కర్మములు చేయు మానవుల ఏ ఆచరణముచే, ఏ కర్మముచే మేము పితరులు తృప్తి పొందుదుమో, దానిని చెప్పుచున్నాము.
