देवदूतेन यः पृष्ट: श्राद्धस्य विधिनिश्चय: । गतिं त्रयाणां पिण्डानां शृणुष्वावहितो मम

Transliteration

devadūtena yaḥ pṛṣṭaḥ śrāddhasya vidhiniścayaḥ | gatiṃ trayāṇāṃ piṇḍānāṃ śṛṇuṣvāvahito mama ||

Translation

దేవదూత అన్నాడు: “శ్రాద్ధ విధి నిర్ణయాన్ని గురించి నీవు నన్ను అడిగావు. ఇప్పుడు మూడు పిండాల గతి విను—నా మాటను శ్రద్ధగా విను.”
