प्रजा विवर्धते चास्य अक्षयं चोपतिष्ठति । यही श्राद्धकी विधि बतायी गयी है
prajā vivardhate cāsya akṣayaṃ copatiṣṭhati |
ఈ విధంగా నిర్దేశించిన శ్రాద్ధవిధిని అనుసరించి ఆచరించువాని వంశము వికసించును; అక్షయమైన సమృద్ధి అతనికి తోడుగా నిలుచును। ఇట్టి ఆచరణ ధర్మలయాన్ని నివారించును। ఈ ధర్మమును పాటించువాని పితృదేవతలు సదా ప్రసన్నులై తృప్తిచెందుదురు; అతని సంతతి వృద్ధి చెందును, ఎప్పుడును క్షీణింపదు।
