एष श्राद्धविधि: प्रोक्तो यथा धर्मो न लुप्यते । पितरस्तस्य तुष्यन्ति प्रहष्टटनस: सदा
eṣa śrāddhavidhiḥ prokto yathā dharmo na lupyate | pitaras tasya tuṣyanti praharṣaṭanasāḥ sadā ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను— “ధర్మము లుప్తమగకుండునట్లు ఈ శ్రాద్ధవిధి ప్రకటించబడినది. దీనిని ఆచరించువానితో పితృదేవతలు సదా హర్షితమనస్సులతో తృప్తి పొందుదురు.”
