प्रज्ञासम्भावितो नूनमप्रजञ्जैरुपसंहित: । हीयमानो$सि दुर्वत्तैस्तेनासि हरिण: कृश:

prajñāsambhāvito nūnam aprajñajñair upasaṁhitaḥ | hīyamāno 'si durvṛttais tenāsi hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ ||

బ్రాహ్మణుడు అన్నాడు—“నీ ప్రজ্ঞ వల్ల నీవు గౌరవానికి పాత్రుడవు; అయినా నీవు వివేకం లేని వారితో చుట్టుముట్టబడ్డావు. దురాచారుల అవమానంతో నీవు నిత్యం క్షీణిస్తున్నావు; ఆ చింత వల్లనే నీవు హరిణంలా కృశుడై వర్ణం వెలిసిపోయావు.”
