Tapas-bala and karmic ascent across yoni
एवं वै परम धर्म प्रशंसन्ति मनीषिण: । प्राणा यथा55त्मनो5भीष्टा भूतानामपि वै तथा
evaṁ vai parama-dharmaṁ praśaṁsanti manīṣiṇaḥ | prāṇā yathā ātmano ’bhīṣṭā bhūtānām api vai tathā ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను—ఇలా మునీంద్రులు అహింసారూప పరమధర్మాన్ని ప్రశంసిస్తారు. మనకు మన ప్రాణాలు ఎంత ప్రియమో, అలాగే సమస్త భూతాలకు కూడా తమ తమ ప్రాణాలు అంతే ప్రియం.
