मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
वर्षासु वर्षतस्तावन्निवसत्यमरप्रभ: । वर्षा-ऋतुमें आकाशसे धरतीपर जितनी बूँदें गिरती हैं, उतने वर्षोतक वह देवोपम तेजस्वी पुरुष ब्रह्मलोकमें निवास करता है
varṣāsu varṣatastāvan nivasaty amaraprabhaḥ |
భీష్ముడు పలికెను—వర్షాకాలంలో ఎంతకాలం వర్షం కురుస్తుందో అంతకాలం—అంటే ఆకాశం నుండి భూమిపై పడే వర్షబిందువుల సంఖ్యకు సమానమైన సంవత్సరాల పరిమాణం వరకు—ఆ దేవసమాన తేజస్సుగల పురుషుడు బ్రహ్మలోకంలో నివసిస్తాడు।
