सिंहव्याप्रप्रयुक्तैस्तु मेघनि:स्वननादितैः

Transliteration

siṁha-vyāghra-prayuktaiḥ tu megha-niḥsvana-nāditaiḥ | tataḥ paścāt bahu-saṅkhyakā rathāḥ sānandaṁ vijaya-ghoṣaṁ kurvantaḥ pravartante | teṣu suvarṇa-mayeṣu nirmaleṣu maṅgala-kāriṣu ratheṣu deva-kanyā āruḍhā bhavanti |

Translation

భీష్ముడు పలికెను— వారి వెనుక సింహవ్యాఘ్రాలతో జూదిన, మేఘగర్జనవలె గంభీరనాదంతో నినదించే అనేక రథాలు సాగుతాయి. ఆనందంతో విజయఘోషం చేస్తూ అవి ముందుకు కదులుతాయి. ఆ రథాలు స్వర్ణమయాలు, నిర్మలాలు, మంగళప్రదాలు; వాటిపై దేవకన్యలు ఆరూఢులై ఉంటారు.
