Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | vasāmi phullāsu ca padminīṣu nakṣatravīthīṣu ca śāradīṣu | gajeṣu goṣṭheṣu tathāsaneṣu saraḥsu phullotpalapaṅkajeṣu ||

Translation

భీష్ముడు పలికెను—పుష్పించిన పద్మినీ సరస్సులలో, శరదృతువు నిర్మల ఆకాశంలోని నక్షత్రవీధులలో, మహత్తర గజములలో మరియు సక్రమంగా నిర్వహిత గోశాలలలో, శ్రేష్ఠమైన ఆసనములపై, వికసించిన నీలోత్పలములు మరియు పద్మములతో అలంకృతమైన సరస్సులలో నేను సదా నివసిస్తాను.
