अग्नीनुत्पाद्य यत्नेन क्रिया: सुविहिताश्च या: । वेदे च ब्राह्मणै: प्रोक्तास्ताश्न सर्वा: समाचरेत्
agnīn utpādya yatnena kriyāḥ suvihitāś ca yāḥ | vede ca brāhmaṇaiḥ proktās tāḥ sarvāḥ samācaret ||
Bhishma said: Having carefully kindled the sacred fires (by due means), one should diligently perform all the rites that are properly enjoined—those prescribed in the Veda and taught by the Brahmins.
