पुत्रा: प्रदेया ज्ञानेषु कुलधर्मेषु भारत । भारत! उसके गर्भसे संतान उत्पन्न करके वंश-परम्पराको प्रतिष्ठित करे और ज्ञान तथा कुलधर्मकी शिक्षा पानेके लिये पुत्रोंको गुरुके आश्रममें भेज दे ।।
putrāḥ pradeyā jñāneṣu kuladharmeṣu bhārata | kanyā cotpādya dātavyā kulaputrāya dhīmate ||
ఓ భారతా! కుమారులను శాస్త్రజ్ఞానం మరియు కులధర్మాల బోధనకై గురువాశ్రమానికి అప్పగించవలెను; కుమార్తె జన్మిస్తే, సుకులజుడైన బుద్ధిమంతుడైన యోగ్య యువకునికి వివాహంగా ఇవ్వవలెను.
