भीष्म उवाच
A righteous king’s dharmic action can become a means of deliverance for others: compassion and adherence to duty are portrayed as powerful enough to neutralize the consequences of a curse and lead a fallen person back to a higher state.
Bhīṣma tells the king that he has freed Nahuṣa from a curse; immediately thereafter, in the king’s very presence, Nahuṣa ascends to Brahmā’s abode, signaling restoration and spiritual elevation.
