Householder Duties and Daily Offerings
अग्नीषोमं वैश्वदेवं धान्वन्तर्यमनन्तरम् । प्रजानां पतये चैव पृथग्घोमो विधीयते,पहले अग्नि और सोमको, फिर विश्वेदेवोंको, तदनन्तर धन्वन्तरिको, तत्पश्चात् प्रजापतिको पृथक्-पृथक् आहुति देनेका विधान है
agnīṣomaṃ vaiśvadevaṃ dhānvantaryam anantaram | prajānāṃ pataye caiva pṛthag homo vidhīyate ||
హోమకర్మలో వేర్వేరు ఆహుతులు విధించబడ్డవి—మొదట అగ్ని-సోములకు కలిపి, తరువాత విశ్వేదేవులకు, ఆపై ధన్వంతరికి, తదనంతరం ప్రజాపతికి (ప్రజల అధిపతికి) ప్రత్యేకంగా ఆహుతి ఇవ్వవలెను.
