ययातेर्वानप्रस्थतपःस्वर्गारोहणम् | Yayāti’s Vānaprastha Austerities and Ascent to Heaven
वहस्व भार्या धर्मेण देवयानीं सुमध्यमाम् | अनया सह सम्प्रीतिमतुलां समवाप्लुहि,तुम सुन्दरी देवयानीको धर्मपूर्वक अपनी पत्नी बनाओ और इसके साथ रहकर अतुल सुख एवं प्रसन्नता प्राप्त करो
vahasva bhāryāṃ dharmeṇa devayānīṃ sumadhyamām | anayā saha samprītim atulāṃ samavāpluhi ||
శుక్రుడు పలికెను—ధర్మమార్గమున సుమధ్యమైన దేవయానీని భార్యగా స్వీకరించుము. ఆమెతో కలిసి నివసించి నీవు అపూర్వమైన ఆనందమును, పరస్పర సంతృప్తిని పొందుదువు.
