ऋषिरासीन्महान्‌ पूर्व तपोविद्यासमन्वित: । स्थूलकेश इति ख्यात: सर्वभूतहिते रत:,पूर्वकालमें स्थूलकेश नामसे विख्यात एक तप और विद्यासे सम्पन्न महर्षि थे; जो समस्त प्राणियोंके हितमें लगे रहते थे

Transliteration

ṛṣir āsīn mahān pūrvaṁ tapo-vidyā-samanvitaḥ | sthūlakeśa iti khyātaḥ sarva-bhūta-hite rataḥ ||

Translation

పూర్వకాలంలో తపస్సు మరియు విద్యతో సమన్వితుడైన ఒక మహర్షి ఉండెను. అతడు ‘స్థూలకేశ’ అని ఖ్యాతి పొందెను; సర్వభూతహితంలో నిత్యం రతుడై యుండెను.
