Devayāny uvāca: yo 'sau devair hatān daityān utthāpayati vidyayā
Knowledge (vidyā) is powerful and morally consequential; its use must be aligned with dharma. Reviving those slain in a righteous struggle can be seen as subverting justice, showing that skill without ethical discernment can become harmful.
Devayānī points out a person who, through a special knowledge or art, is bringing back to life the Daityas who had been killed by the gods—indicating the presence of a potent life-restoring vidyā and raising concern about its implications.
