अग्निशाप-प्रसंगः
Agni’s Curse and the Restoration of Ritual Order
देवर्षयश्न मुदितास्ततो जम्मुर्यथागतम् । ऋषयश्च यथापूर्व क्रिया: सर्वाः प्रचक्रिरे,इसके बाद देवर्षिगण अत्यन्त प्रसन्न हो जैसे आये थे वैसे ही चले गये। फिर ऋषि- महर्षि भी अग्निहोत्र आदि सम्पूर्ण कर्मोंका पूर्ववत् पालन करने लगे
Śaunaka uvāca: Devarṣayaś ca muditās tato jagmur yathāgatam | Ṛṣayaś ca yathāpūrvaṃ kriyāḥ sarvāḥ pracakrire ||
శౌనకుడు అన్నాడు—అప్పుడు దేవర్షులు ఆనందంతో, వచ్చినట్లే తిరిగి వెళ్లిపోయారు. అనంతరం ఋషులు, మహర్షులు కూడా యథాపూర్వంగా అగ్నిహోత్రాది సమస్త నియత కర్మలను మళ్లీ ఆచరించసాగారు.
