जनमेजय उवाच ज्येष्ठानुज्येष्ठतामेषां नामधेयानि वा विभो । धृतराष्ट्रस्य पुत्राणामानुपूर्व्येण कीर्तय,जनमेजयने कहा--प्रभो! धृतराष्ट्रके जो सौ पुत्र थे, उनके नाम मुझे बड़े-छोटेके क्रमसे एक-एक करके बताइये

Transliteration

janamejaya uvāca | jyeṣṭhānujyeṣṭhatām eṣāṁ nāmadheyāni vā vibho | dhṛtarāṣṭrasya putrāṇām ānupūrvyeṇa kīrtaya ||

Translation

జనమేజయుడు పలికెను—ప్రభూ, ధృతరాష్ట్రుని కుమారుల పేర్లను, వారి జ్యేష్ఠ-కనిష్ఠ క్రమాన్ని తెలిపి, వరుసగా ఒక్కొక్కటిగా నాకు చెప్పుము.
