शेषस्यांशश्ष नागस्य बलदेवो महाबल: । सनत्कुमार प्रद्युम्न॑ विद्धि राजन् महौजसम्,महाबली बलदेवजी शेषनागके अंश थे। राजन! महातेजस्वी प्रद्युम्मनको तुम सनत्कुमारका अंश जानो
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: śeṣasyāṁśaś ca nāgasya baladevo mahābalaḥ | sanatkumāra-pradyumnaṁ viddhi rājan mahaujasam ||
మహాబలవంతుడైన బలదేవుడు శేషనాగుని అంసము. రాజా! మహాతేజస్సుతో ప్రకాశించే ప్రద్యుమ్నుని సనత్కుమారుని అంసమని తెలుసుకొనుము.
