वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical danger of krodha (anger): when it dominates the mind, it becomes productive of further outcomes—here symbolized as 'daughters born of wrath'—suggesting that emotions, if unchecked, can shape future actions and even lineages.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that, under the sway of anger, a woman gives birth to nine maidens associated with wrath, listing their names and noting that Surasā is especially endowed with auspicious qualities.
