Śakuntalā-Janma-Nāmakaraṇa (Birth and Naming of Śakuntalā) | शकुन्तला-जन्म-नामकरणम्
स्तनं तु दक्षिणं भिनत्त्वा ब्रह्मणो नरविग्रह: । नि:सृतो भगवान् धर्म: सर्वलोकसुखावह:,ब्रह्माजीके दाहिने स्तनको विदीर्ण करके मनुष्यरूपमें भगवान् धर्म प्रकट हुए, जो सम्पूर्ण लोकोंको सुख देनेवाले हैं
stanaṃ tu dakṣiṇaṃ bhinattvā brahmaṇo naravigrahaḥ | niḥsṛto bhagavān dharmaḥ sarvalokasukhāvahaḥ ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను— బ్రహ్ముని కుడి స్తనమును చీల్చి, నరరూపముతో భగవాన్ ధర్ముడు అవతరించెను— అతడు సమస్త లోకములకు సుఖకల్యాణములను ప్రసాదించువాడు।
