Tapovana-praveśaḥ — The King’s Entry into the Sacred Grove and Vision of the Āśrama

गोष्वश्वेषु च राजेन्द्र खरोष्ट्रमहिषेषु च । क्रव्यात्सु चैव भूतेषु गजेषु च मृगेषु च,राजेन्द्र! गौओं, घोड़ों, गदहों, ऊँटों, भैसों, कच्चे मांस खानेवाले पशुओं, हाथियों और मृगोंकी योनिमें भी यहाँ असुरोंने जन्म लिया और अभीतक वे जन्म धारण करते जा रहे थे। उन सबसे यह पृथ्वी इस प्रकार भर गयी कि अपने-आपको भी धारण करनेमें समर्थ न हो सकी

goṣvaśveṣu ca rājendra kharoṣṭramahiṣeṣu ca | kravyātsu caiva bhūteṣu gajeṣu ca mṛgeṣu ca ||

ఓ రాజేంద్రా! అసురులు ఇక్కడ గోవులలోను, అశ్వాలలోను, గాడిదలలోను, ఒంటెలలోను, మహిషాలలోను, మాంసాహారి జంతువులలోను, గజాలలోను, మృగాలలోను కూడా జన్మించారు. వారు ఆగకుండా జన్మధారణ చేస్తూనే ఉండగా, వారి వల్ల భూమి అంతగా నిండిపోయి తన భారాన్నే మోయలేనంత అయింది.
