Duḥṣantasya Vana-praveśaḥ
King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
येन देश: स सर्वस्तु तमोभूत इवाभवत् । दृष्टवा सृष्ट तु नीहारं ततस्तं परमर्षिणा
yena deśaḥ sa sarvas tu tamobhūta ivābhavat | dṛṣṭvā sṛṣṭaṃ tu nīhāraṃ tatas taṃ paramarṣiṇā ||
వైశంపాయనుడు చెప్పెను—ఆ మబ్బుల వలన ఆ సమస్త ప్రాంతము అంధకారములో మునిగినట్లుగా అయెను. తరువాత, ఆ పరమర్షి సృష్టించిన మబ్బులను చూచి వారు కారణమును గ్రహించిరి.
