Duḥṣantasya Vana-praveśaḥ

King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt

गिरिं कोलाहलं तं तु पदा वसुरताडयत्‌ । निश्षक्राम ततस्तेन प्रहारविवरेण सा

giriṃ kolāhalaṃ taṃ tu padā vasuratāḍayat | niṣṣakrāma tatastena prahāravivareṇa sā |

వైశంపాయనుడు చెప్పెను— నది ప్రవాహం అడ్డబడినదని చూచి ఉపరిచర వసువు తన పాదంతో కోలాహల పర్వతాన్ని తన్నెను. ఆ దెబ్బకు పర్వతంలో చీలిక ఏర్పడి, ఆ చీలిక ద్వారా నది బయలుదేరి మునుపటివలెనే మళ్లీ ప్రవహించెను.
