Āstīka Stops the Sarpa-satra; Royal Closure and Protective Phalaśruti (आस्तीकः सर्पसत्रनिवर्तनम्)
सर्व विस्तरशस्तात भवाझुछंसितुमहति । सर्पसत्रविधानज्ञविज्ञेया: के च सूतज,तात! ये सब बातें आप विस्तारपूर्वक बताइये। सूतपुत्र! यह भी सूचित कीजिये कि सर्पसत्रकी विधिको जाननेवाले दिद्दानोंमें श्रेष्ठ समझे जानेयोग्य कौन-कौनसे महर्षि वहाँ उपस्थित थे
sarvaṃ vistaraśas tāta bhavān uccheṃsitum arhati | sarpasatravidhānajñā vijñeyāḥ ke ca sūtaja ||
శౌనకుడు అన్నాడు—“తాత! ఇవన్నీ మీరు విస్తారంగా చెప్పవలసినవి. అలాగే, హే సూతపుత్రా! సర్పసత్ర విధానాన్ని బాగా తెలిసినవారిలో శ్రేష్ఠులుగా భావింపబడిన ఏ ఏ ఋషులు అక్కడ ఉన్నారో కూడా తెలియజేయుము.”
