सौतिर्वाच भगो: सुदयिता भार्या पुलोमेत्यभिविश्रुता । तस्यां समभवद् गर्भो भृगुवीर्यसमुद्धव:ः,उग्रश्रवाजीने कहा--महामुने! भूगुकी पत्नीका नाम पुलोमा था। वह अपने पतिको बहुत ही प्यारी थी। उसके उदरमें भृगुजीके वीर्यसे उत्पन्न गर्भ पल रहा था
sautir uvāca bhṛgoḥ sudayitā bhāryā pulometi abhiviśrutā | tasyāṃ samabhavad garbho bhṛguvīryasamudbhavaḥ ||
సౌతి పలికెను—మహామునీ! భృగువు యొక్క అత్యంత ప్రియ భార్య ‘పులోమా’ అని ప్రసిద్ధి. ఆమె గర్భంలో భృగువు తేజోమయ వీర్యమునుండి పుట్టిన భ్రూణము పెరుగుచుండెను.
