तपस्वी च यशस्वी च श्रुतवान् ब्रह्मवित्तम: | धार्मिक: सत्यवादी च नियतो नियताशन:,वे तपस्वी, यशस्वी, शास्त्रज्ञ तथा ब्रह्मवेत्ताओंमें श्रेष्ठ थे। धर्मात्मा, सत्यवादी और मन- इन्द्रियोंको वशमें रखनेवाले थे। उनका आहार-विहार नियमित एवं परिमित था
tapasvī ca yaśasvī ca śrutavān brahmavittamaḥ | dhārmikaḥ satyavādī ca niyato niyatāśanaḥ ||
