Takṣaka’s agency, Parīkṣit’s rites, and Janamejaya’s enthronement (वैयासिक परम्परा-प्रसङ्गः)

स देवं परमासीन सर्वभूतहिते रतम्‌ । ब्रह्माणमुपतस्थे वै काले काले सुसंयत:,वह समय-समयपर मन और इन्द्रियोंको संयममें रखकर सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंके हितमें तत्पर रहनेवाले, उत्तम आसनपर विराजमान आचार्यदेवकी सेवामें उपस्थित हुआ करता था

sa devaṁ paramāsīnaṁ sarvabhūtahite ratam | brahmāṇam upatasthe vai kāle kāle susaṁyataḥ ||

అతడు మనస్సు, ఇంద్రియాలను సుసంయమంగా ఉంచుకొని, కాలకాలానికి, ఉత్తమాసనంపై ఆసీనుడై సమస్త భూతహితంలో నిమగ్నుడైన దేవ-ఆచార్య బ్రహ్మను సేవించేందుకు హాజరవుతుండేవాడు.
