Ananta-Śeṣa Tapas and the Bearing of the Earth (अनन्त-शेष-तपस् तथा महीधारणम्)

एवं संलोडयामास गरुडस्त्रिदिवालयम्‌ । पक्षतुण्डप्रहारैस्तु देवान्‌ स विददार ह,इस तरह गरुडने स्वर्गलोकको व्याकुल कर दिया और पंखों तथा चोंचोंकी मारसे देवताओंका अंग-अंग विदीर्ण कर डाला

evaṁ saṁloḍayāmāsa garuḍas tridivālayaṁ | pakṣatuṇḍa-prahārais tu devān sa vidadāra ha ||

ఇలా గరుడుడు త్రిదివలోకాన్ని కలవరపెట్టాడు; తన రెక్కలూ ముక్కుతో చేసిన దెబ్బలతో దేవతల అవయవాలను చీల్చివేశాడు.
