एवमस्त्विति त॑ चापि प्रत्यूचु: सत्यवादिन: । तान् कश्यप उवाचेदं सान्त्वपूर्व प्रजापति:,सत्यवादी महर्षि वालखिल्योंने “हाँ ऐसी ही बात है” कहकर अपने कर्मकी सिद्धिका प्रतिपादन किया। तब प्रजापति कश्यपने उन्हें सान्त्वनापूर्वक समझाते हुए कहा --
evam astv iti te cāpi pratyūcuḥ satyavādinaḥ | tān kaśyapa uvācedaṃ sāntvapūrvaḥ prajāpatiḥ ||
సత్యవాదులైన వాలఖిల్య ఋషులు “ఎవమస్తు” అని సమ్మతించారు. అప్పుడు ప్రజాపతి కశ్యపుడు ముందుగా సాంత్వనచేస్తూ మృదువాక్యాలతో వారితో ఇలా అన్నాడు।
