सर्वे च ते वेदा: प्रतिभास्यन्ति सर्वाणि च धर्मशास्त्राणीति । एषा तस्यापि परीक्षोपमन्यो:,“तुम्हारी बुद्धिमें सम्पूर्ण वेद और सभी धर्मशास्त्र स्वतः स्फुरित हो जायँगे।” इस प्रकार यह उपमन्युकी परीक्षा बतायी गयी

sarve ca te vedāḥ pratibhāsyanti sarvāṇi ca dharmaśāstrāṇīti | eṣā tasyāpi parīkṣopamanyoḥ |

రాముడు అన్నాడు— “నీ బుద్ధిలో సమస్త వేదాలు, అన్ని ధర్మశాస్త్రాలు స్వయంగా ప్రకాశిస్తాయి.” ఈ విధంగా ఉపమన్యు యొక్క పరీక్ష వర్ణించబడింది.
