सहिता: सेनया राजन्ननुजग्मु: पुरंदरम् । राजन! महात्मा इन्द्रको वहाँसे प्रस्थान करते देख समस्त स्वर्गवासी देवता सेनासहित उनके पीछे-पीछे चले गये
sahitāḥ senayā rājann anujagmuḥ purandaram | rājann mahātmā indraḥ tatraiva prāsthitaṃ dṛṣṭvā samastāḥ svargavāsino devatāḥ senāsahitāḥ tasya pṛṣṭhataḥ pṛṣṭhataḥ anvayuḥ ||
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—రాజా, సేనలతో కూడిన దేవతలందరూ పురందరుని అనుసరించారు. ఆ స్థలమునుండి మహాత్ముడైన ఇంద్రుడు బయలుదేరుట చూచి, స్వర్గవాసులైన సమస్త దేవగణము తమ తమ సేనలతో అతని వెనుకనే ప్రయాణమయ్యారు.
