ततः शक्रो$तिसंक्रुद्धस्त्रिदशानां महेश्वर: । पाण्डुरं गजमास्थाय तायुभौ समुपाद्रवत्‌,तब देवताओंके महाराज इन्द्र श्वेत ऐरावतपर आरूढ़ हो अत्यन्त क्रोधपूर्वक उन दोनोंकी ओर दौड़े

tataḥ śakro ’tisaṃkruddhas tridaśānāṃ maheśvaraḥ | pāṇḍuraṃ gajam āsthāya tāv ubhau samupādravat ||

అప్పుడు త్రిదశుల మహేశ్వరుడైన శక్రుడు (ఇంద్రుడు) అత్యంత క్రోధంతో శ్వేత ఐరావతంపై అధిరోహించి ఆ ఇద్దరి వైపు వేగంగా దూసుకెళ్లాడు।
